Nope, mysterious enemy is still as mysterious as ever...

Also, on the Empire. They weren't completely defeated in V3-4. That particular campaign is completely defeated, but the Empire is still trucking on like always, minus the political instabilities that are likely to occur due to such a complete failure of a campaign anyways... Likely as not, they'll make try at it in a few years... Maybe... We'll have to wait for spoilers or the Chinese translations to pick up...

To be more specific:

Basically, the main character used himself as a diversion while the General lead a group to capture the Empire's border city, which was acting as the main supply line and is where the secret weapon that the Princess referenced earlier in the manga is located.

Once the Princess learned of the attack, she realizes that she's basically lost, but she makes one last charge in hopes of killing the main character and decapitating the Kingdom, but she ended up delayed by the white dragon princess and the maid, and sh was only being able to exchange one blow with the main character before being forced to take her army and retreating.

Obviously, now that they took the city, they're going to keep it. The Empire itself is likely to experience quite a bit of turbulence from their huge campaign not only failing, but also losing a city at that... So it's probably earned them some time before the Empire can muster up another major attack like that again...
