I think the coolest costume I've ever seen in an anime has got to be Lelouch's Zero uniform in Code Geass. OMG! He looks so awsome in it. Especially without the helmet. My favorite image of Lelouch as his Zero persona is when he wears the full costume, (minus the helmet so I can see his gorgeous face) and he's in his theatric poses with his cool hand movements. It's so captivating and he is so omg amazing when he is like that. His cape and the high curving collar make him look mysterious and villain-like. And the black gloves make his graceful hand movements look so cool. Zero's overall costume design is the coolest looking to me.
