Spoiler for Missing Mail vol3... next chapter...:
Spoiler for if you click here, you will be spoiled!:
So the second half of the manga is called, "The Last Mail From Glendan," and it's 3 chapters that are sort of loosely based on some of the same stuff in the novels and in the anime.
Here's the first chapter, which sets up the story of the next two (sort of), and is a nice compact tale in itself.
It starts with a letter to Fon-Fon from Leerin, asking him if his injuries have healed. She couldn't believe that Zuellni got attacked by the FM, and the distance between Grendan and Zuellni makes her impatient. She says that it's a little embarrassing that her letter was the trigger to get his fighting spirit back, but she's happy. She's glad he didn't abandon martial arts, and she's glad he's safe. She says her life is very busy, but not boring. Oh, and she has something she needs to ask him. . .
Of course, the problem is that this is all inside an envelope that Fon-Fon hasn't opened yet. He's just sitting there in one of the pastures, savoring the prospect of reading it later. As he's looking at Leerin's name, Felli notices that he looks pretty happy.
Fon-Fon nervously tries to hide the letter (and calls her Felli-Sempai, so much for that), while Felli is having an internal struggle. She wonders if that's the same Leerin he was talking about when he passed out on Nina's chest. Is she his lover? (In the handwritten script, "Is he two-timing?" lol)
He's says that's not it. He promised her that he'd call her Felli.... she gets all shoujo-y, and looks all vulnerable. Then he says it's embarrassing to say it like that. She says that's a bad way of thinking and shows him her angry face.
Anyway, she lets him know that "someone" on the student council has leaked it out that he was responsible for killing all of the FM the other day.
He figured as much, as it would explain the giant stack of love letters he's carrying in his bag. He says he's worried, because all of these girls are asking him out, when he's not a very good provider. Felli agrees. He says she's mean, but he really hasn't thought about his future.
Felli wonders why all of these girls are simply attracted to him because he can fight. She worries about him struggling to find a future without fighting.
He asks her if she's been avoiding her future as well, but she says firmly that she's been thinking about it properly, and now she has a part-time job! (I think you can see where this is going.)
He asks her what it is, and she says it's none of his business. As he chases after her, Leerin's letter falls out of his bag, still unread.
And of course, her job is as a waitress, wearing a "fluttery, loli-loli, pink" outfit, as she puts it, as the manager tries to get her to smile again. Naturally, she's still irritated with Fon-Fon's lack of progress in thinking about his future, as the manager tries to pinch a smile on her face... good luck buddy... she realizes that the service industry is impossible for her.
And then Fon-Fon and Sharnid walk in. He says that the outfit looks good on her... as she flashes back to what he said to Meichi back in volume 2... she wonders about Leein, and then she gets mad and yells at him for using the exact same words on her as he used on Meichi, as she thinks to herself, Why is it this guy? She catches herself, and tries to act like a proper hostess, but he turns and leaves.
Felli is of course, miserable, and later that night wonders why she was so mean to him.
The next day, she meets him at the farm, where he's shearing sheep. "A joke?" "No!"
Fon-Fon says that sempai is trying so hard, and he thought that he could learn more about agriculture through a part-time job. (And he really likes sheep...)
The he says, "Felli, would you like to do it together with me?" (He means shearing sheep, but I had to laugh when I saw that page, because it got half of a page and big bold letters, and he looked all serious.) She gets all excited and girly at that. She realizes that it's not his strength that she's attracted to, it's those rare times when he shows her that kind of face that gets her...
Later, as Felli is walking to the training room, she spots Meichi, standing around the entry, holding a letter. Felli wonders, why does that kid have Leerin's letter?
Meichi, on the verge of tears (again) calls out to Felli... DUN DUN DUUUUN!
And that's where the chapter ends.

Thanks a lot for the summaries. It was a great read. As a fellow fellyXFon-Fon fan, it was very, very much appreciated.
