If you're capable of supplying basic needs (food, shelter, etc) without a serious expenditure of resources (time, energy, etc), then you're going to have different priorities than someone who spends virtually their entire day at it.
Immortals, even those of long lives, have different priorities. Stop and think how you'd prioritize things if you knew you had a 300 year life span instead of an 80-100 year life span.
