Personally, I am disappointed at the revelation of Cassandra's skill. It seems to depends too much on the surprise element. But previous chapters indicated that she were a raw power/endurance kind of fighter. "If she does not use that technique she is just on the level of #5?" Has Yagi forgot how he described her in a few chapters back? I think Yagi has pushed this every warrior must have her own skill too far. Nowadays we get something more and more contrived.
Roxanne is someone quite twisted. I am guessing that all those people who died after Roxanne had learned their techniques is not pure coincidence; that puts Roxanne in the "ungrateful backstabbing bitch" category. Her story is also the first which shows that the ranking is kind of fluid: a example of someone who started from a very low rank all the way to No.1 by her power and guile. As a villain, I fully endorse her character.
The chapter hardly moved the plot a bit. Fail.
