Well, to be clear, some of the ero content in the anime wasn't even in the game to begin with, and what ero content there was in the game was spread over a
much longer story. But they have to do something to differentiate themselves from all the other anime out there, so it's good to be unique in that sense. Notice how much more discussion this series has gotten than other eroge-based anime in recent memory.
