Quite many Finns were back in the day really pissed about that map and ones like it. Things would have been quite different if Finland would have been under Soviet Russian rule for the 50 years that it survived after making of that map. Well we would have gotten rid of the mandatory Swedish as a school subject.
Though it's somewhat understandable that Finland was "given" to USSR in these maps. Finland being an Axis nation in WW2. Not so united under common ideals but common enemy. Still as far as lost wars go WW2 was a good one for Finland considering the long term effects.
