Asuna's personality is definitely not the first type. If it were as easy as you make it sound, Asuna or one of the other 300 would have long ago learned what was happening in the real world, convinced people that they were one of the still "asleep" SAO players, and their circumstances wouldn't be a mystery, but rather something known to their next of kin, and being actively worked on.



Out of curiosity, why do people keep calling them "not blood related"? They're first cousins. Whether or not it's culturally acceptable in a given part of the world does not change the fact that it's a blood relationship.
First cousins can marry in quite a few states here in the U.S. Not sure why it's such a big deal.
