From what I read, it seemed like he went back to the Armed Forces, yet there was something about helicopter pilot in his epilogue line as well. Alto's no longer bridge bunny though, that's for sure.

Episode 26. There was a couple of knights who appeared at the Jail base, but like all grunts, they either appear too late or do nothing worth talking about.
