Are you sure? Been a while since I've seen these episodes, but I thought it went:

Spoiler for Timelines:

1) The "canon" timeline.
2) This Trunks' timeline. Same as the one from the History of Trunks movie, likely the same one that comes back later though we have no way of knowing for sure (though manga may be different, not sure if they fixed the Android numbers from magazine to volume transition).
3) Dead Trunks' time, where the Cell everyone fights comes from.

Cell from #3 dies to Gohan's hand. Cell from #1 dies to... I forget if it was Krillin, Trunks, or Gohan, but someone blew it up. Cell from #2 dies after a quick skirmish with Trunks from timeline #2.

While the DBZ Wiki talks about a fourth, I don't recall ever seeing that one. I recall Trunks #3 having the Blueprints, but that could've just easily been from him stumbling upon Gero's lab. There's nothing that indicates that there's actually a fourth timeline, whereas the other three are outright shown and stated.
