Nope it is not going to happen, stop crying about it...
Sheryl becomes a spinster and dies alone while Alto marries Ranka and live happily ever after!!

PS: To tell the truth I did not liked the first movie so much they "butchered" the story and the characters....
I prefer the TV series.
