I just finished Chihayafuru and Princess Tutu.

Chihayafuru really surprised me. I thought that a pointless show about a card game would never be able to touch me. I ended up laughing and crying and hoping and being anxious right along with all the characters. Chihaya is an amazing character. Was it still pointless? Well, yes. There could have been a lot more character development without so much karuta.

I liked it a lot though. Thank you thundrakkon for letting me know about yet another great show.

As for the other show..

Next I'm watching Basilisk and then Fushigi Yuugi.

Thank you thundrakkon for letting me know about yet another great show. As for the other show.. Spoiler: Princess Tutu I was so afraid would end up a tragedy. I knew that even if it did, I would still love it and remember it. Somehow, as the ending went, one duck had so much hope that she literally changed the world. I could think of few things more beautiful than this story. Thank you arachni42 for telling me I needed to see Princess Tutu. I really did. Next I'm watching Basilisk and then Fushigi Yuugi.
