This is rather interesting....because Hunter what you said is true but at the same time it is different.
No matter what Naruto does....his brain and body will somehow still limit the amount of power. (Which is why it only hurts and not worse)
Lee's muscles were completely ripped because he was actually using chakra/power...to his limits.
If Naruto starts to open gates then he'll definetly release alot more chakra... and i am not sure whether the Kyuubi's healing abilities (chakra) will help at the same time..
