Back to topic I think B Gata H Kei should be in this thread. It is ironic because it is loved for its ecchines while tons of other shows were panned for same reason.

Most ecchi shows are about ridiculous fanservice shots and convoluted situations leading to nudity, groping, etc. B Gata H Kei is about how teenagers are horny and sexually inept. The latter is a lot funnier to a lot of people (myself including), and the way B Gata H Kei goes about it kind of satirizes teenagers' false sexual bravado as well. I love B Gata along with Seitokai Yakuindomo, which also makes fun of how teens are horny and perverted but doesn't have quite a same satirical value because it concentrates strictly on how teens are sex obsessed and doesn't demonstrate the inept side as much.
