I hope that is the case, because I saw that result as either people not wanting Shana to win this year or make sure Shana has a hard time winning this year. I based this on the following:
Shana has to first take care of the weakest Nova loser of the semi-finals, then take care of the winner of the Stella Cricket, after which she has to defeat either the strongest Stella semi-final loser or the loser of the Nova finals in order to make it to the finals this year. Her chances of winning are either really good or really bad depending upon what happens in the next two match days.
