All things considered I have strong doubts Shrade is dead or out of the picture. Since he's been added to the ED animation, and we don't actually know he's dead I'm assuming the standard rules of anime apply and he'll be up and kicking in the next ep. Besides the previews look entirely too upbeat for a character death to have just happened.
