You missed my point. I didn't ask who cloned the passengers or how they're cloned, what seems to be missing from all those comments about Akira and co are clones is
the reason for it.
Why were they cloned? Why on the island? Why do they have to fight for survival? Why do they have their memories? Why the "crash"? Why after so many years?
Unless somebody can make sense of all these, I'm calling BS on this cloning business.
