No, he did it to himself. She had no control over this.
He's the one who wrote that story. And for the last time, he isn't dead. He still exists in this world, he hasn't passed on.
And what do you mean he had his whole life in front of him? He didn't lose it. In fact, he kept his life by doing this. You're trying to twist this into "Yoko yandere-killed him", but that isn't remotely what happened.
Let's go over this nice and easy so you understand.
- Yoko was gone
- The story was necessary to bring her back
- Teiichi created and modified the story
- Teiichi wrote him being with Yoko into the story
- Teiichi's story takes hold and he becomes the same existence as Yoko.
- They meet again.
