From what I played there is a great deal of depth to the augmentations and a vast array to choose from.
Both mine and my friends playthroughs of the first few missions
vastly differed with him being able to side step certain obstacles with clever dialog choices via social augmentations rather than stealthing or blasting his way through etc.
