I assume it's something similar to Yamu's barrier/teleportation magic circle.
Not only did Scheherazade observe the battle and
trash talk communicate with Mogamett using the magic circle, it may even have the properties of teleportation. She's probably the only one in Reim that has enough magoi/knowledge to use it, otherwise they'd have utilised it (imagine Reim army teleporting to the battlefield).
