I was actually disappointed that she was suddenly turned into a bro-con.
In the previous episode Tatsuya talks about how certain spells can't be used in Monolith Code because they would be classed as being too lethal.
I'm not really convinced, because half of the spells and weapons used in the Monolith Code scenes from this episode would absolutely kill a person. When that kid took the blunt hit from the magic sword, I was literally shocked that he could even move after that.
Then they topped the episode off with large rocks being pelted at the Prince, followed by him pelting his opponents with actual explosions.
Magicians have a funny concept of lethality in this series.
