Yes i'm going to say it yet again, another perfect adaptation of the manga.
Quite the focus on Kyouko this time around. It was done pretty much the same way in the manga, and was portrayed very nicely. It can be heartbreaking at times seeing how much she keeps on pushing herself even though she knows Sugimoto won't return her feelings. As shown in the later half of this episode, she wants to prove to herself that her feelings are true and honest, meaning more heartbreak down the line. Do love how well they captured the scene when she broke down in the cafe. Beautifully done.
My favorite scene of the episode has to be the question asked to Fumi regarding if she remembers her first love. The whole scene brought me to tears, and its hard to say why. The fact that it's left with a cliffhanger of sorts makes it a lot more dramatic, especially with the beautiful BGM playing. Speaking of the score, it just keeps getting better and better with each episode. I find myself adoring each piece that's been played, and can't wait for the soundtrack.
Quite like how they're handling the phone call scenes, with the change of camera shots. It surprisingly works quite nicely, when you'd think it would be quite annoying.
Oh and a lol from me at the fangirls in this episode. So typical.
