Just as I have been posting in the
Classical music thread regarding classical music for Christmas, so I have been
posting in this thread regarding music of any kind for Christmas.
Three of my favorite popular music songs for the Christmas season are "White Christmas," "The Christmas Song (Chestnuts Roasting On An Open Fire)," and my personal top favorite, "Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas."
Below are videos featuring these three Christmas songs by the three great American singing artists who introduced them to the world: "White Christmas" from the 1942 film
Holiday Inn, sung by Bing Crosby; "The Christmas Song," sung by Nat King Cole; and "Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas" from the 1944 film
Meet Me in St. Louis, sung by Judy Garland.
