Great Episode.

They changed the fight just a tad to make Gajeel seem more badass, in the manga the fight was way more a bare win for Gajeel but I didn't dislike the change at all overall. However his bare win in the manga really made everything upcoming seem so epic... on that note I'm disappointed that anime only viewers didn't get to experience that. In the manga Gajeel doesn't grab the sword but it impales his flesh and exits out the backside of his shoulder but he absorbs it finishes off the guy with the same move (but it doesn't get that island size blast) then immediately passes out due to the injury to his arm.

Now for any anime only fans who want to read the manga since they can't wait for next week or whatever, this episode ended halfway through chapter 213 (Oh and chapter 212 had a bonus chapter entitled "Welcome to Natsu's House", so don't miss it if you pick up the manga).

I personally can't wait for next episode... It should be epic. Having read the manga and knowing what's up coming but still I'm kinda surprised I'm so excited for next episode, but I am. The scenes from next week always spoil too much (let alone the intro spoiling things)... at least this time they didn't really show much fighting from next week.

As far as the episode. It was highly enjoyable tho the chicken i didn't too much care for. The other bad guy was actually pretty decent with the stuff he had up his sleeve. The flash back was well done. This anime is very consistently good with the timing of when to show them. The Gajeel/Levy connection continues to grow. I love it. Oh and cliffhanger with the no.1 cat around wasn't bad either. Next week looks pretty epic but i think im going to read some of it first it at least.
