That part was just plain stupid. It wasn't like she couldn't talk to Takashi, he was asking her why she got held back because she was smart, and she replied you wouldn't understand and starts dating Hisashi. IMO, Takashi should keep his pimp hand strong and tell Rei what's up. It's like she is bi-polar or something, it kind of bothers me.
