The fact that he can also increase the velocity of the reflected projectiles makes it into a repulsion field. The only way I can see to defeat this is to somehow encase the boy in a vacuum or in an environment at absolute zero temperature. Maybe create a firestorm with him in the center and suffocate him.

Good guess, someone eventually is going to try that. But Accelerator later on got a hold of way to fight off that too. Accelerator's ability only have two weakness outside Imagine Breaker. And those weakness eventually got over up as well....
