One of my author friend said that if you doubled the characters, the possible number of plot threads is squared.
At that time (I started to write a fanfic), I consider it moronic and too simple of a math. Now... well....

And this is only those that are plot important, and if I went with backstory, there are five plot important teachers, Tabane, two soldiers, and at least three engineers. AND of course, the parents, as well as the rest of NAMED characters
