You get jumpy. That is all. You immediately freak out and panic in the dark whn it is simply your NVG being knocked out of alignment.
In fact, if you have been missing sleep for a long period of time and sleep less for that period of time, there are two things that will happen : one being that your body adjusts accordingly by sleeping less or you simply sleep longer for the subsequent period to make up.
