Ryuunosuke's speech at the beginning of the episode was so hilarious. "Are they even human!? BAAAAWWW!"
I'm going to miss the pair of nutjobs that are Caster and Ryuunosuke. I hope their demise will be a spectacular one (summoning Ctulhu already is KUUUURUUUU as hell). I was under the impression Caster would be fodder, how wrong I was... it will apparently take at least three heroic spirit to take him down. The preview even has Tokiomi asking Gil to use Ea, though it's unclear who his target is. He might be trying to take down everybody at once in the turmoil.
The wait for the next episode is going to be painful. So painful in fact that I think I'm going to go read the novels (I intend to read them no matter what anyway.. might as well do it before I'm spoiled). They stopped at the worst possible moment, which is to say, the best moment for them. No better way to ensure people will come back for second cour than to end the first one with a major cliffhanger.
