I personally don't, because it forces me to miss some of the things that goes on at the moment because I'm trying hard to think back. Sort of makes me lose interest if I'm not into the story in the first place.

And I got that feeling a bit watching this one. But I think the fact that I already read the book, even if it was a long time ago so that I forgot most of the details, really helped me keep up with the story.
