It's more like a last minute team. In my script, the girls decided that during the party, they'd have like a mini-concert.
Karon and Erika are very enthusiastic about it, so are Yoko and Sarah. They decide to pull as many possible in a band of theirs... Thus, Haruka and Alex got pulled into the group. On the other side, Erika and Karon get their buddies.
Spoiler for Possible Script:
Erika: One question. Who's going to sing?
Yoko: I vote for Alex-senpai!
Alex: Surely NOT. I accepted to join only to play the piano. Anything else and I'm out of here. I especially know Yoko, the reasons why you want to put me up there. Now, if I had another boy with me, perhaps I might accompany him...
Girls look at him with consternation
Haruka: *sigh* Brother, you should stop being so nervous... What about you Sarah? Think you can sing?
Sarah: Well, Haruka-senpai, the thing is that I am sort of nervous in situation like those... Iwas never really at ease when I've been but under the spotlight so....
Helena: Perhaps that we could get a teacher with experience with that kind of stuff? I'm sure Yamada-sensei wouldn't mind helping would she?
Karon: Wait... HELENA! YOU'RE A GENIUS!! Wait for me girls, I'll be right back.
2 minutes later, Karon barges back in, dragging Maximillian-sensei by his collar.
Karon (with an evil grin): I've gotten ourselves a singer.
Maximillian: *chokes a bit* It's not like I had a choice...
Yoko: ALEX, HERE'S YOUR BOY, NOW YOU CAN SING WITH HIM!
