Well...
1. Ika-chan continues to get absolutely no love. Seriously, Haruna? The same Tier 6 girl from last year?
2. Sora v. Misaki is close. Sora won Asia while Misaki won rest of the world. Both would probably get in and be fodders anyway...
3. Russia continue to go against mainstream. Just looking at Nova 1 they went for Poplar-chan and Alice. Nice taste but too bad Russian fan base is just not THAT large...(They went for Yamada as well, who proceed to be crushed...)
4. 2 close calls b/t Clannad & K-On, both won by K-On girls. But then, that's kind of what you expect when it's 4th & 5th girl from K-On (or even 5th & 6th since there's Ui...) v. 4th & 5th girl from Clannad...
5. Hinata (from RKB) surprised me. I mean, Kyoko finished 1st in her seeding group with split while Hinata is 5th. But she managed to lose only by 500...
6. Riko > Minami...I really don't know Minami's strength anymore...(Yes, there's the Chinese factor, but it's not like Minami ever get close...)
