Seinen does not necessarily equal violence or swearing or sex. For example, the manga versions of
Azumanga Daioh, Ichigo Mashimaro, and
Kamichu! are seinen titles becuase they are all published in a
seinen magazine.
I'm not a big fan of "sports" anime but the kendo thing kind of caught my attention and I was going to give this series a try. Now, the more I hear about it, the more interested I become. I'm really looking forward to
Bamboo Blade now.
