It seems we have a
thread for most of the major anime studios, except Ghibli.
For lack of a better place, I'll link this CNN interview with Hayao Miyazaki to this thread. It is particularly relevant because Miyazaki discussed the philosophy behind Studio Ghibli's existence. The
interview aired just last weekend (Aug 12, Fri). There was actually a later half in which Miyazaki talked briefly about his son Goro's decision to become an animation director, but it seems that clip has not been uploaded, not even by CNN.
