Small question for the light novel experts, on the topic of two characters. I'm asking because I want to follow the anime, and would just like a confirmation from you good light novel people! (this concerns later light novels)

There's apparently speculation based on a japanese wiki at least one of them does not, although that may be based on incorrect translations of it?
