Some have argued that Lelouch should have noticed that soemthign strange was going on, but he ignored the warning signs and it caused a tragedy. Suzaku however could have prevented it... He could, for example, have refused to carry Freya, but did so despite everyone's warnings and his own heistations about the whole subject...
