Ending the transmission, WuFei jumped below the cliff and slid straight on the slope. Using the rocky portion jutting out like a stepping stone, he jumped high in the sky, gallantly landing on the Virgo.
WuFei haughtly folded his arms, "I'm glad you came... allow me to welcome you." he said with a smirk.
Dixneuf and the others couldn't hide their trembling from the suddenly appearing WuFei. The two escorts suddenly fired their machine guns. WuFei, however, easily dodged the barrage as he nimbly danced in the air. He roundhouse kicked the two terrorists holding the machine guns, sending them flying through the air. They were unable to stand from the zero range combat. They were stunned the moment he attacked their vital points in succession: their solar plexus and glabella. It was just one form of martial arts that WuFei made his specialty. While WuFei was extremely prepared, these two men were not.
"Resistance is futile. Surrender now." He said calmly as he turned around.
Dixneuf, who was standing behind him, didn't seems to comply. He was the only one left standing. WuFei could likely take down the one armed man easily.
"..."
A long silence followed.
In the spring's nighttime sky, the brightest star in the constellation Virgo, Spica, was shining.
"Astoria..." Dixneuf whispered the name of the goddess who became the source of the constellation. An awkward mechanical whirling sound reverberated. To WuFei's rear, the Virgo mobile doll that was lying down started it's initialization.
Slowly, the giant started to get up.
WuFei was horrified. He thought the piloted had already boarded it.
But, he immediately found out that this was an unnecessary suspicion.
Ignoring the Virgo, WuFei attacked the man controlling it remotely. He went at him with a quick jump and a sharp kick. However, Dixneuf dodged his attack with an unbelievable jump. Yet, he disappeared into the darkness of the expanding forest in front of the cliff and not the seaward side. The series of movements combined with the nimbleness of his interactions far exceeded that of an ordinary person.
"It's likely an artificial leg... that kind of level isn't possible." WuFei informed Lady Une on the other end of the communication.
"It seems like he's using a Mars-class inferior environment type of astro cybernetics."
"I see. As long as he's alive it'll be difficult to catch him." Lady Une responded.
"We're running into trouble deactivating the explosive device... If at all possible I'd like him to cooperate with us once captured, but..."
"That makes him all the more dangerous, wouldn't you say? We have no choice but to kill him." WuFei coldly gave up any value in Dixneuf remaining alive.
"Even if we kill him, he doesn't seem like the kind to die anyways."
WuFei didn't try to pursue him right away. He'd escape even if he ran after him thanks to the cybernetics. Seizing the guns lost by the soldiers earlier, he waited for orders in front of the standing Virgo. Regardless of where he fled to, there was no doubt he'd come back.
There was hardly an interval.
The mobile doll started walking via Dixneuf's remote control.
WuFei was running alongside it as he continuted his report.
"The Virgo III only has standard equipment: planetoid defensors and two beam rifles... Aside from the Leo-type high mobility equipment, I don't see any other weaponry like a beam cannon or mega beam cannon. But, with our current abilities, there's no way we can defeat this thing."
Also... cybernetics? Really Sumizawa?

Thanks Deacon! I still really want to know how the Virgo was baited to fight underwater, or whatever happened.
So Virgo III using this, interesting
