also thinking Gai did work for GHQ which would explain his skillz, knowledge of voids, and having inori. I am guessing once he learned of their true motive and the creation of inori he took her and formed his own group to save mana.

Then, it looks like Haruka won't be able to hide things from Shu longer, and she'll sure properly apologize to both Shu and Inori.
I just hope Shu finding the background behind the truth about Mana from Haruka won't raise her death flag not much about GHQ, but because Daath's still out there.
