Kisaragi-GOLD★STAR~:
Spoiler for the game:
It was definitely entertaining, though I have mixed feelings about how the story develops in many of the routes. The best thing about the game are the heroines, many of which are just adorable, very cute and quirky. In the end I think I took this game and it's story a bit too seriously, when the game really just wants to be a fun romp. It was quite confusing during reading whether this game wanted me to take the story seriously or not, and is the stem of the various little problems I've had with this game.
Art: Saga-Planets credited 5 artists for this game, and while the CGs mostly look fine, I had various minor gripes with the character sprites. Out of the main heroines, Ichika takes the most hit in the art department, looking like a different person in many sprites, its like the artist couldn't decide what her eyes look like(Thankfully she looks much better in the CGs). Tsubasa also has some minor problems as well. Its very sad since everyone looked quite good in the OP. Oh, and there was this issue of girls having one breast visibly larger than the other...
Music: The bgms were nothing special, but those insert songs will all get stuck in my head forever. ぱぱら was especially genius, and the game used it in all the right places(e.g. Eiko epilogue, Keiko's H-scene).
Routes: Saya's route was great until the end, where the writer couldn't decide whether they wanted to do something bittersweet or happy, and as such the end left me confused for quite a few days. I then played the other routes and realised that Saya was always going to return within a year or so, and felt like I overthinked the stuff. I didn't like Tsubasa's character that much, but I felt that her route did good justice to her character, and was well written. Mikoto's route I liked the least, mainly due to the protagonist's big change in character during her route. Ichika's route was the one I was most happy with, with it being very funny (the protagonist really shines when in his sis-con mode) and healing.
Route rankings: Ichika = Nanako > Eiko > Saya > Tsubasa > Mikoto = True = Toori
I'd like to add that Nanako's route was bliss, Eiko's route was awesome and has the best end ever, while Toori's route was just average for me.
Saya was my favorite character in this game, too bad her route wasn't as good as it could be. Futami was a nice good protagonist for the most part, though he changed for the worse in Mikoto's route, becoming more rash and aggressive. I really liked Sanae too, and I like to think that somewhere out there there is a Sanae end.
Then there's the true end, which is like a Hitomi route, with an epilogue attached at the end. The whole serious-vs-not-serious writing really crashes this route. I really facepalmed at Hitomi, his story and his wish. I felt bad for him, but that wish. Seriously.
Overall, I do like this game, but more for the lolz and the cute characters rather than the overarching story. Do read it if you get a chance. Seriously, Eiko's route should've been played the last. Then I would've came off this a much happier gamer.
