It's not a matter of past or future, the rule about spoilers is always the same. Untranslated scans of novels or manga are considered as licensed material (in the same way we don't allow posting link to raw videos) and so they can't be posted, as a generic rule.
There isn't a detailed outline. Just some common sense, we don't mind if 1 pic or 2 are posted
sometimes if they serve to illustrate a point (ie, the novels had it different than the anime, explain why and post 1-2 pics if you wish). But don't post a whole chapter or more than the necessary for the images to be
illustrative. It is an exception, such it shall remain and mustn't become an habit.
