I'd say it's justifiable smugness. She doesn't think she did anything wrong, and I'm inclined to agree with her on that. She just wanted to send the message to Vivio that not everyone is going to treat her with kid gloves, and that maybe she's just not cut out for hand to hand fighting.
At least unlike a certain some one, Shante didn't send Vivio to the infirmary to prove her point.
