They are not trying to prove their innocence. They have already been declared guilty and punished. They are trying to catch their blackmailer. Since they have already been punished for the deed they didn't do, they decide they might as well do what they have been accused of.
This season of Baka test is kinda disappointing. Every episode seems to be about the guys being stupid and the girls being violent. The baka is still there but the test and summon beings seems to have taken a back stage.
Himeji used to be so nice too....
