I've been trying out Trinity recently too, still quite new to the game. The learning curve seems to be quite steep at the start, also since there's no campaign to help you get used to it...BUUUT, extremely fun to watch your fleets battle, especially once you have 16 capital ships on field~
And the Star Wars mod is awesome too.
