And also... we've all known that the Lock would probably become useless by the end of the manga, when Tsukune's control over the power in absolute... but I wonder: would Tsukune perhaps get something else custom-made just so that he can look like a regular human? Even if he did master the power, I suspect the physical transformations would still be rather apparent

Hm ... Initially I thought that Tsukune's Holy Lock, might function like that ... after Tsukune master's his vampire power's, but the latest chapter's have changed my mind about this ... and I agree that Tsukune is probably going to need some kind of custom made seal to hide his ayashi nature.
Spoiler for 32:
Another thing that I'm wondering about ... is Moka still a Shinso vampire, after injecting Tsukune with her blood ? I might be mistaken about this, but I don't think that after giving his / her blood to someone else, is going to stop one, from still being a Shinso vampire.
There still hasn't been anything said against two or more Shinso vampires existing at the same time ... Alucard and Akasha is a prefect example of that, so unless something new has been said in chapter 32 about this, which the spoiler's haven't mentioned ... I don't think it's possible for a Shinso vampire to stop being a Shinso after he has given his blood to someone else or it has been taken from him, and he / she was still able to survive that.
I mean take a look at Akasha even after giving her blood and power's to Moka sometime earlier, she still demonstrated having superior regenerative abilities then a normal vampire, and judging from the spoiler's ... the only reason why Akasha couldn't go all out against Akuha was probably because of Akasha's kind personality and because releasing the full extent of her abilities ... would probably cause Alucard's revival, and Akasha would probably die ... then let that happen.
