For females : I would go for golden twintail/ponytail/straight-down waist long hair, the closest reference would be Eri Sawachika (School Rumble) but down to waist long.
For males : I never thought about it, but I think Sakai Yuuji (Sakugan no Shana) hair will be my choice.
