And to think it's very likely the scene against Gaius is just at the climax of the first half of Xillia... It's not unlikely that he'll double his level in Badass further than his duel against Gaius.

Yeah, sometimes it never works out at all, especially when the series has a designated potential fallback childhood female friend in Leia... but it sometimes does.
