Yeah, Junichi Akutsu & Kunio Okawara is a great combination in
SEED. Together, they made the GATX series. Their individual designs are also impressive. Kunio Okawara designed the Trio Gundams (Raider, Calamity, Forbidden) and Duo Gundams (Freedom & Justice) while Junichi Akutsu designed the Astray series and the variants. But Kanetake Ebikawa (Exia & co) and Naohiro Washio’s designs (Throne Gundams) from
00 are also quite interesting. You don’t even have to ask about Katoki Hajime. I’m a fan of his Wing Gundam & co redesigns, but also love the originals by Okawara.
