Sorry for climbing up into the bandwagon for so late.
Picked this show out of curiosity (wondering why it's still a huge phenomenon, as well as one friend on my Facebook flist sometimes talking about it and cosplaying as Azusa), watched... and got pretty much hooked.
K-On! made me feel better after every episode, the kind of show that pulls you away from the real world (and politicians) and into a place where angst does not exist, a round of tea and pastries serves as an icebreaker, and a band that hasn't been touched by any record executive's finger yet provides loads of laughs.
At the moment, 8/10 on my rating scale. Best stress-reliever since Azumanga Daioh and Marimite. Also, it reinvigorated my interest in listening to 90's rock music, both foreign and local.
