Sadly, Lawrence is dead. Haruna tells Maki to go with the commandos as she will reunite with her as she's her friend. Haruna experience grief for the first time over Lawrence's death and almost goes berserk and forcefully takes control of Maya's ship to shoot several cities until a voice calms her done. The voice is also heard by the other mental models worldwide and a mysterious girl with an astronaut suit is spotted on Maya's ship. As the commandos retrieve Lawrence's body, Haruna and Kirishima decides to rendezvous with Maya. Meanwhile, Kita has made a deal with the Central Region Prime Minister and Kamikage; the army is allowed to attack Iwo Jima to retrieve the I-401 after which he will resign. Kamikage also makes a call to Komaki, the Captain of Hakugei.
