I don't have a favorite "god," but I do have a favorite "god-worshiping" scene. In
episode ten of
School Rumble Mikoto hurts her hand while sparring with Hanai. She goes to a shrine the next morning and prays that she can hold her pencil during the test, then laughs at her actions because she doesn't believe in gods or religion at all. Suddenly "Jesus" appears and binds up her injured hand....
The shrine visit in the Shichi-Go-San episode of
Kure-nai is quite a lot of fun, too.
